Memorandum of Understanding with the National Museum of the Royal Navy
MAST and the National Museum of the Royal Navy, one of Britain’s leading maritime museums, have renewed their mutual commitment to each other’s work signing a new Memorandum of Understanding.
The NMRN and MAST have established a relationship based on cooperation, understanding and mutual support, in a supporting/supported relationship, and with the agreement of both parties, to work together where practical for the common promotion of the objectives of the NMRN and MAST and such other events as both parties consider to be mutually beneficial.
This is to be achieved by sharing experience and expertise in developing the awareness and understanding of naval heritage, whether regionally, nationally or internationally and to foster the interest of the general public in their naval heritage and maritime background.
The NMRN and MAST will maintain their separate corporate and legal identities without any formal conjoining of company or trust in the conduct of the cooperative efforts to influence the general public and the naval service in naval and maritime heritage and to advance the relationship between the NMRN and MAST.
